I don't have hearing bollocks, but they do sing when I'm lucky.

There was a piece on Radio 4 last year which looked at PV technology and suggested that the panels were likely to be replaced with cells built into the fabric of components such as roofs and cladding panels. There is 'wallpaper' style system which has been tested which will eventually replace the old arrays.

We are agreeing here. This is what I have been saying for years. Doesn't matter whether it is Tory or Labour. They just choose different pals to make rich off the public's back.........I'm lolling at you trying to radicalise me to the CorbynZultana'R'us party. lol. Hilarious :D

I'm pretty sure it was Carswell himself that went for the by-election to prove a point. I think he himself forced the by-election by quitting as an MP to force it and then when he quit UKIP Farage was spouting on about how he should be having a by-election. lol

The Emily Maitlis point is the same as the TV debates argument where they bang on about things as if it has always been normal despite it not being ;) I agree entirely. Emily Maitlis would ignore the countless times someone has crossed to the left and attack those she disagrees with on the basis of "everybody has always done it" and then talk over and tut tut the interviewee trying to correct her and present her with the actual facts.

A fairly large protest gathering in London doesn't make the news columns, a couple of arrests and a bit of aggro and it would been on the front page.

I just got in an argument with someone about DEI in the US. Made me laugh as he said that it makes the job market ‘unfair’. I said that’s the bloody point! It is unfair. Ffs.

    HIGNFY. One for the musos
"Donald Trump has talked up his close bond with King Charles by saying Britain and America are "two notes in the same chord", although they're doing their best to avoid anything involving a minor"
What's that, searching for the lost one?

People only post when the "right wing" does sumfink or Trump says sumfink away from being with Starmer.

Also probably glued to the infighting in the left, popcorn at hand as Corbyn and Zultana publicly fight over control of a party that doesn't even exist yet. Or Labour's less public but equally obvious push and pull between the Blairites and the union stooges. Burnham on manoevres and his support will be looking for a spot to vacate in a Labour safe seat in the near future so we may see a "leak" of something to shift one out. The left-left are going to win the Deputy leader part with Powell beating the Starmer camp pick of Philipson.

Amazingly in an absolute opposite to public opinion Raynor is still the most favourably rated by Labour voters. lol. And the Burnham-Raynor ticket would close out the Starmer camp with Burnham faking union tendencies (he's a Blairite) and going on a full left-left ticket!

I predict before the May local elections as well because Starmer is gonna be under massive pressure at that point if there is a repeat of this year's locals.

Tories can't get a look in because the story is all about Farge=Bad and Labour fighting like rats in a sack.........as all governments in power do once they smell blood! The chance of power is too attractive to these people whether they be lefties or righties. If they sense weakness they are all over it.

As are most of the big hitters ;) Annette Balls has made a career out of it and Burnham is just as Chameleon-like. He's made a reputation of "standing up for his patch" somehow away from the HoC and as mayor, as it is easier to faux stand up to government (even if they are your side) when you're not an MP and somehow has the unions on his side.

So we will have to see what happens. Unions vs NEC? Who wins? I personally think he will be a shoe in IF he gets a seat in time for Starmer's ousting. Maybe Andrew Gwynne stepping down early, even though he is publicly saying he won't step aside, there are always more skeletons at the ready when needed and I daresay the whatsapp leaks were just to free up a minister role at the time!

His constituency is a Labour safe seat both the new one and historically its former boundaries! And another reason for that likelihood? Gwynne has been rumoured to want to vacate the seat to leave politics and his constituency is historically in Greater Manchester including the home estate of the Gallagher brothers, Burnage :)

For all the denials and statements by Gwynne (even today) of not stepping aside for Burnham, its likely he will or he will be forced to, that is if his denials mean anything. Sacked politicians often say these things when they don't mean them and I doubt he feels any loyalty to Starmer especially when they were also suspended as a Labour member as well!

Or Graham Stringer is 75 and when I've seen him lately on interviews doesn't sound like he is good health, very heavy breathing. He is no fan of Starmer!

Starmer sacked several Greater Manchester based MPs in his last re-shuffle. Obviously preparing for war.

Burnham would also need Morgan McSweeney out of the way though as he has a control over the NEC and the selection process...........and whadda y'know......he is under pressure since the Mandelson thing as well ;) so Starmer may be forced to sack his enforcer at just the right time!
