I hope you are feeling better today We went to see the castle in Sirmione today it’s very nice around here
We’re bottom end of las americas. Struggled to find the match where we are but got in last minute to an Irish bar who put it in for me n the missus. There were two Everton fans in watching their game on the outside terraces there were about 8 villa fans inside. Other than that the bar was full of mags. Proud as punch walking out of that bar after we put on that performance !
We went to Sal last year in January. Cracking weather but not a lot to do unless you like kite surfing! Basically it's just big resort type hotels with a few 'trips' you can do but nothing that interested me. We stayed near to the main town, Santa Maria, which was charming but small and not very exciting. We went to Cayo Coco on Cuba years ago, lovely beaches and hotels but bugger all to do. It reminded me of there. Probably wouldn't go back unless it was a cracking deal.
As already touched on it’s more of a chill and relax place, water sports aside there isn’t a lot of trips etc to do. If your looking for heat, nice hotels and simply to relax and recharge your batteries then this is the place, if your more of an activities and excursion kind of person then avoid
Well am currently in Orlando on the big rides cos am a big kid. 91°c makes ya town halls a bit claggy tho. Some of the rides make ya Y fronts look like a map of the Farne Islands.
Off to Bardolino next June. Never been before as we normally go to Limone but got a bit chewed with the long transfer time from the airport when we wennt last year. Looking forward to looking around a new area;
Bardolino was really nice, that’s a great choice. Me and my lad cycled up to Garda and back to Sirmione today - best day of the holiday OK - the bike might have had a small motor to help get up the hill
**** me, you know this club of ours gets under your skin when a comedy Elvis starts singing "Wise Men Say" and you start to tear up! I need to keep off the drink!!!
It happened to us on holiday. We were sitting in a bar/restaurant in the main square in Krakow. The England ladies Euro finals was on the TV with no sound which we were keeping an eye on and there was a lass with her guitar singing. The final whistle went, England lasses were running all over the place celebrating and the lass started singing Wise Men Say. Eeeeh I was no good like!
