We’ve received confirmation from Esh that the planned overnight closure of the Tyne Bridge on Thursday 18 September will be delayed, the bridge will now close at 11:30pm on Thursday, rather than the originally scheduled time of 8:00pm. This adjustment has been made to help minimise disruption to match-day traffic and public movement. All other details remain unchanged, and pedestrian/cyclist access will still be maintained.

Kind of good news for us but won't be many chances to see the lad at SJP so a bit of a bitter sweet pill.

Spain left-back Alejandro Balde (hamstring) and Spain midfielder Gavi (knee) are also absent for the Catalans.

 

You never know we might draw them at home again next season
