This might sound hyperbolic but it appears to me that we genuinely have one of the best recruitment teams in the world right now. The profit we're going to turn on some these players will be eye watering.

Something we targeted in the summer and it looks like we've done a decent job

Agreed. Hope all is well mate. We are a team that looks comfortable among this league mind, and that's the thing!

It's hard to picture a better one considering our situation, going from the second to top league must be the most difficult recruitment task in football and we've smashed it. We have at every stage of the club's development since Dreyfus and Speakman stepped in.

Watched the game live here. Roefs man of the match with an unbelievable performance but there were others as well. To be honest couldn’t criticize anyone today not that I that I do but f*ck me do we have a team or what. All the dynamics are there. Top,top leader. I thought team spirit last year was amazing but this team takes it to another level. Diarra and Sadiki what machines. Went to Google Selhurst Park to see if there still running hours after the game has finished. RLB and his team clearly know their sh*t. I don’t know whether the feeling is elation or just shock watching our team…lol. Great support as always so many congratulations to all those there. Should an old guy like me be getting warm and fuzzies at the age of 68…? HTL!!!!!

downside Burnley away and Huddersfield league cup, good result at Palace but then again not 1999 level but they need to work on it. 7 from 12 great though but no Kevin phillips here Mitrovic we are missing that type of player maybe january ? the goalkeeper best since Monty

Think the game was pretty evenly matched and both teams had periods where they looked like scoring. Palace were probably slightly better at creating clear cut opportunities (they were at home) but I thought on the whole we matched them very well.
I really see the positives from our play and how we move the ball and the shape of the team, this will soon start to show positives on the pitch.
I also do not think that the 2 away games so far are a fair reflection of our team as a whole. My reasoning is that Burnley sat low and deep which will take time for any team to work out never mind a fairly new set of players, and Palace tend to set up very similar to us in that they are happy to hit on the transition.
All that said I think we will improve game on game and believe we will stay up reasonably comfortably.

Full time whistle went whilst we were stuck for 30 minutes on the M42 in Birmingham, big relief to get the point, around 6pm in the M6 Toll services there were loads of Arsenal fans, thought they must have been at Villa, surprised to see they had played at home, how the hell do you get from the Emirates to Birmingham in an hour?
Spoke to two lovely ladies proudly wearing they're Morecambe shirts, congratulated them on they're 4-4 draw.
Long day on the road back from Portsmouth and the Ferry from Normandy, 8 1/2 hours, knackered when we got back but happy with the lads and a good away point OaU. HTL.

    Defensively superb.

no real cutting edge. Missed Le Fee.

The recruitment has been unreal in the summer. Only concern I have is Brobbey, everything bounced off him, looked poor IMO but it’s his first game, so need to give him time.

Right now though, Mayenda is our best centre forward. Isidor deserved a start, but struggled.
