Lucumi is going to struggle to get in, come January.
Really look solid at the back, I think the attacking cohesion will come. 7 out of 12 is a dream start. These away games against mid table we just need to stay hard to beat and see what happens.
I sometimes forget how young disara and sadiki are, futures bright

Conceding less than a goal per game. That’s got to be really rare for a promoted side as well.

We had a good game, but Palace had the better chances. Missed Fee perhaps?

Commentators aren’t best pleased we’re making a good fight of it. Seem intent on it being a closed premier league shop.

Reinildo for value imo. What a free transfer that is.

Xhaka and Roefs definitely up there.

    Football can be cruel mind

Le Fee found himself out of the 11, got a chance after a poor show at burnley by the wingers as he started out of position on the left against Brentford, put in a stupendous performance, arguably primed to kick on and now out of the side with a knock and has to start again.

we had more of the ball than we arguably wanted in a way, we were playing into 11 men for the most part and we struggle with that. Early in the second half when it got hectic with numerous 5 on 5s etc the wingers looked dangerous. Think that Forest, Villa and United will all come on to us more which will arguably suit us, getting the wingers in more 1 v 1s with the full back, Striker battling with a single centre half for through balls etc

clearly a work in progress, do think we wanted another winger, the x factor winger.

Won't knock him, played his part today and its early days.

Great result , and showed we are here on merit, I do tho' think our subs invited the constant pressure late on, we needed options on the break, not a six yard box poacher.

Every player we bought in the window will give his all for this team, yes we can pick out certain players but all who have played up to now has done the business for us

Perhaps but not sure it would have made a big difference to the flow of the game. Palace are a very good PL team. I’m not sure we created a clear cut chance all game but for 70 minutes we more than matched them and held our own. Last 20 we were under the cosh but we held out fairly comfortably and looked solid throughout. We can’t expect to go dominating away games like that when we’ve just been promoted and our players are still getting used to each other. I’m delighted with the performance and point gained.
