Then they are disgusting, I hated his views, but defend his right to have them, and articulate them. Politics is about debate and respect for people with differing views, once we stray from those principles, on either side of the debate, we’re on a slippery slope.

If you call an individual far right, fascist, a nazi, a white supremacist you are dehumanising the individual, this is a tool to not debate or engage isn’t it? Today tens of thousands will be at an event organised by Tommy Robinson. Despite the event being attended by people of differing backgrounds, and speakers being multi racial the event has already been delegitimised as being far right, fascist etc and those attending as being racist subhumans.
A lot of what Charlie Kirk stood for was what the vast amount of people would consider as common sense For instance not allowing intact female trans people to be in women’s changing rooms, Prisons, or being allowed to compete in women’s sports, especially physical ones like rugby or Boxing where male strength, muscle mass and height/reach are usually far greater than the average womans The progressive left are to blame for stirring up the rubbish we’ve seen over the last decade or so Telling all people of colour that they are victims when the vast majority are not and it’s actually a really racist thing to do Filling job vacancies with DEI hires almost disregarding suitability, experience or qualifications Our own Royal Air Force saying white n males may not apply for careers etc I think it’s great that Trump has put an end to all of this rubbish and we should follow suit if Starmer and Lammy ever wake up from whatever planet they inhabit. They are partly to blame The culture wars are coming to an end and thank God that common sense plus, not forgetting, the truth/reality, has prevailed
All this rage seems bizarre to me. It seems so simple - treat everyone with respect, regardless of race, colour, religion or sexual orientation (of course not kiddy fiddlers) but don’t tolerate bad behaviour. Grant temporary asylum to those fleeing conflict, on the understanding that they go back home once their native situation eases. Those that want to move here permanently need to adopt British values and adhere to British laws, but can only be accommodated (a) if we have the infrastructure to accommodate and (b) if they are willing to contribute to society by working and paying taxes. Fight people who’s views you disagree with using debate, rational argument and voting, not violence. Prove them wrong using examples and evidence if you think they are wrong. Don’t just stop them speaking - that’s not winning the argument. If you have a cock, use the gents. If you have a vagina use the ladies. If you are trans and there is a neutral toilet use that, otherwise accept that you have to use the toilet aligned to your chromosomes. There is no need for hatred or anger. But then, I’m quite a simple guy - perhaps I don’t understand…….
