He literally started Gelhardt in the 10 in the last game with Akintola on the right. Likely he'll do the same again as Akintola played well v Bristol City.

I agree regarding Hadziahmetovic, I think he'll come in next to Lundstram.

Dean Holden also needs to have stepped up his game this last week.

He interviewed really well and explained in his interview with Baz how he is focused on our defensive structure both in and out of possession (to particularly protect us in transition) - I gave him plaudits on a great job versus Coventry, but since then, this has been our Krptonite, as we have been as open as ‘insert pun here’.

Yes Holden definitely needs to up his game-either that or we need to replace him with the guy we had the last half of last season.

I agree. Can’t fault the attacking part of our game under Jakirović and his staff but defensively it’s on par with Shota.

Too much space between the lines and a midfield that isn’t disciplined or proactive enough to protect the defence. Hopefully, Hadžiahmetović just sits in front of the defence and gives the others freedom to get forward.

Kasey Palmer will return from the international break tomorrow but not in time to be involved on Saturday.

Good to hear the injury situation is slowly getting better. It will be interesting to see what the midfield looks like, as we now have few options if the incoming players are match fit.

I guess the only other question mark is whether Coyle comes back in for Drameh, as I expect the front 3 with Gelhardt in the 10 will be the same as the Bristol game.

God I hope not, maybe worth risking at home but the big hole in our midfield contributed to Bristol putting 4 past us.

Sounds as if Hadžiahmetović may start with Lundrum with Darko on the bench.

What do you think the difference should be other then other than Gelhardt, McBurnie, Akintola & Ndala?

Hadza isn’t a 6 though, that’s not his role. He’s more of an 8 so will be competing with Slater, Gyabi and Lundstrum.
