    Two other clubs.
I believe it's multiple small local businesses chasing for payment but as I'm not local I'll have to leave it to others with more knowledge to comment.

If an owner was also setting the club up to be sold - this stuff may also happen.

I know we had the opposite experience with the Allams (that the reduced the debt to get the club in a position to be sold), but we are in a much more sellable position now than we were before the end of last season.

Alongside that - we haven’t really fully invested in improving our position this summer. We’ve got free signings because we had to and now any new prospective owners can see a squad that should survive. That’s much more sellable than not investing at all and seeing a squad likely to go down before the club can buy any players.

The stadium improvements will be loaded onto the SMC debts which I doubt any new owner has a desire to pay off. The fans trip probably was paid for by Acun’s sponsors and the changing of the exits literally isn’t anything other than safety regs.

Look, I’m not trying to say it’s all doom and gloom and I absolutely hold my hands up that this summer has been far far better than expected - but to put any of the above as ‘proof’ of anything is nonsense really.

Actually, what are we trying to prove? Acun is ****? Acun is good? Acun is god? Acun is the worst owner ever?

I’ve lost track of all this tribal nonsense to be honest. This season will tell us so much about what he really is like as an owner and the actual judgement call could be if our fee restriction returns next summer.

Similes are meant to be broad - but aye, Guffaw was at Salo.

As for the rest, you could frame it as a difference of opinion. But like all such differences, the lens and strength of argument matter. You suggest it's the realm of the heralded ITKs - not so. There's clear public evidence of the mess that suggests financial turmoil:

People have a difference of opinion about all sorts of things, like my mate prefers cod to haddock, but he's wrong and he's a dickhead.

Ye and despite my snide joke, if it's true, it's not on. But as of yet, not one of these businesses has gone public with it, no business has openly said they won't do business with city and even if he has welched on a payment, it doesn't mean that he isn't going to keep on spending... For all the arguments, GFAW just wants confirmation before he turns, others choose to believe/take the word of the rumours. It's just a difference of opinion.

Haddock with fish and chips as the drier fish combines with the fat in the batter better. Cod if it's fried/grilled as it is.

Fair enough about the strength of arguments. I don't have an opinion either way, as couldn't be further out the loop, but respect that GFAw is sticking by his guns when under mortar attack on here ;..

I don’t care if he believes people or not about the rumours. I just think he’s a tit.

I’ve also remembered the guy that went into the field in Melton with Assem and Ehab to hold the bit of paper that lauded his super fan superiority over everyone else. I can’t remember who that was, the head of the OSC?

I'm not in the business of insulting people that don't deserve it, you're fully entitled to your opinion and if you think everything is looking rosy then, despite my vehement disagreement with that stance, I'm not going to have a go at you for taking it.

However, it does not change the position we are in at the moment. It isn't great. That's not to say it won't get better or that there isn't a path to fix it, but this constant pointing out of people's stances at the time with 20:20 hindsight is at best morally questionable and at worst pretty ****ty considering there hasn't been a significant shift in circumstance until yesterday.

I can't speak for everybody, but to me it comes across like you're trying to take the high ground over what's happened as if the people who reported it were wrong. Everything this Summer points to the exact opposite. Those people didn't claim we were in the process of being sold or about to be sold, it was mentioned that Acun is looking for a buyer/would accept an offer if one came along that was right. He did lose interest, whether or not he's got the interest back remains to be seen. I'd be quite keen to ask some Maribor fans (and I've just had a really good idea as to how I might go about that) what Acun's engagement with them is like and what their take is. We have a significant debt, which remains significant even after yesterday's investment. I don't understand why you think it's unreasonable to view the current situation as worrying at least.

What I discussed with you on DM the other day would not be a thing if we didn't have serious, serious, cash flow issues stemming from the owner not putting enough in to pay the bills. Joe Clutterbrook will be fully aware of that situation which is now well over a year old. Why would a 3 figure sum not be paid if we were being run by a man who puts 'one family' before everything?

The wage thing I mentioned, staff would not take that action if the man who owns the club was being a good and fair boss and ensuring his staff and their concerns were being listened to. Trumpton is also likely fully aware of this too.

There isn't a chance this move was anything other than trying to jump through some hoops for the efl business plan in a last ditch attempt to get players in and make a success of the season. He needs premier league to survive, there is no other option for him.

That's just more cryptic, speculation, rumour or second hand news.
You're trying to say a business (hull city tigers Ltd) which turns over 10s of millions a year, employs 100s of staff some of whom earn 1000s a week owned by a guy who also has other businesses turning over millions a year owes someone or something a 3 figure sum of money for over a year because we have "serious serious cash flow issues"

I'm surprised the default conclusion is that a 3 figure sum to be paid should be on Acun's radar as a priority. He may have absolutely no idea about it. The club hasn't paid someone, or something a 3 figure sum, ergo we must be on our arses? I'm sorry, but taking that at face value it doesn't make sense to me - not that there's any actual information there to work with. I'm unfortunately not a member of 'insider club' so that's all I can take from it.

To comment publicly would be prejudicial to any litigation. And they probably don't want to be publicly associated with a dispute with an organisation with 20-30k fans in the area. Not good for business.

He's given it in the sense money we've previously spent is no longer required to be repaid. You're right it does mean we could draw down another 15m of debt in the future I guess if we need it theoretically.

I never moaned about rugby league. ****.
And I was supportive of the Allams until they put the club up for sale and stopped investing.
