We have been toothless up front for quite some time, every Swans fan I speak with has said the same thing. We can’t win games without goals, we appear to go backwards and sidewards all the time, sometimes being direct is also needed, the best form of defence is attack I think.
Indeed. I've said it before but Vip rarely got the service a number 9 needs. Now we have two forwards then hopefully we'll adapt the play to feed them both. We haven't been putting enough balls in even though we've had wing play, and as I say, the early ball is always the best. If we can play them both then Vip can be a handful while Idah should be more mobile. Could be a great combo.
I think so as well, I can’t remember in recent times the last time we had two out-and-out strikers on field. It’s going to be interesting to see how this pans out
It will be one up front replaced by the other later in the game...the tactics wont change but perhaps the service up front will be quicker and of better quality. There were inklings of this at Hillsborough recently
I fear you may be correct. Either way, we have two decent forwards Imagine both up top, now that would certainly worry some Championship defences.
