Silly format when the teams get such different fixtures, yet are competing in the same league. That aside, what do you make of your fixtures? PSG (a) is not great, but the rest reads like last season’s EL games
Two of them literally are last season's EL games. We've also faced Dortmund and Monaco in both the CL and EL and Prague in the EL.
EL league stage draws : Aston Villa: Red Bull Salzburg (home), Feyenoord (away), Maccabi Tel Aviv (home), Fenerbahce (away), Young Boys (home), Basel (away), Bologna (home), Go Ahead Eagles (away) Nottingham Forest: Porto (home), Real Betis (away), Ferencvaros (home), Braga (away), Midtjylland (home), Sturm Graz (away), Malmo (home), Utrecht (away) EL2 league stage draws : Crystal Palace: AZ Alkmaar (home), Dynamo Kyiv (away), Strasbourg (home), Kups Kuopio (away), AEK Larnaca (home), Shelbourne (away)

Not picked for the ECL squad Takai Dragusin Maddison Kulusevski Bissouma Tel No great surprise, 4 injured , Bissouma could still get sold , only Tel was a toss up
Very tough on Tel, feel for the lad. Can’t see how he’s going to get many minutes now that we have signed Muani. Wouldn’t suprise me if he wants away in January. Think Odebert has been picked ahead of him due to him being able to play both wings. Tel is LW and not really capable anywhere else. If we get past the group stages and Dragusin and Kulu are back it’s going to get even more complicated. Perhaps then Davies and Gray are left out ??

Talksport: Tottenham winger Mathys Tel has opened up on the heartbreak of not being included in his team's squad for their upcoming Champions League campaign. That's despite Tel helping the north London club win the Europa League and joining on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich this summer. Speaking at a press conference while with the France Under-21 squad, Tel said: "It's clear that when you're not on a list, it definitely hurts. "But I'm someone who stays pretty positive, no matter the situation, because I think I've worked a lot n the mental aspect. "So today it's definitely a disappointment, I would have liked to be there. "But the coach's choice is the coach's choice, we can only respect it and we're going to work to come back in the best possible way."
A pragmatic manager would be looking at him (and others) being in the PL starting XIs for the 6 or so PL games following each CL tie.
Tel keeps doing things that impress me, it's just a shame that most of them are off the pitch. He's kept his head up and keeps saying the right things, despite not getting a lot of time. Hopefully Frank can find a way to get the best out of him.
The Prague vs Bodo game today gives Spurs a chance to see how the two pending CL opponents are doing.
Brugge vs Monaco + Copenhagen vs Leverkusen. More opportunity to see how pending CL opponents are doing.
