Lewis to win for me .

He / the team & the true fans deserve it IMHO .

Extremely unlikely to happen , but that’s the winner I want ( Apart from a Williams of course ) .

Nah, He'll give LeClerc a tow for pole, as long as they both get into Q3.

Verstappen yet again showing his talent when the car performances converge.

Be interesting to see if McLaren have the overall balance to win the race or not.

The fastest lap in F1 history!

Supposedly the new regs will give cars that are faster on the straights, but slower in the corners, will be interesting to see what that means next year for a track like Monza. If they are deployment limited in qualifying it’s a record that could stand for quite some time, if not it will get annihilated next year.

Watching the ghost car video on the F1 website seems the Redbull is faster on the straights. Short of a disaster I think this is Verstappens race.
Of course, disasters happen, safety cars happen but given the talent I feel it will be Verstappens day.

Interesting that they are saying that this race, because of the pace of the lap might take only 1 hr 15 minutes to complete. For me they then need to add enough laps to make sure the race lasts a minimum of 1hr 30. It’s currently a 53 lap race, then add another 12-15 laps.

Why doesn’t Piastri not come in and go onto softs and undercut Norris?

Piastri must be laughing his cock off after that pit stop by Norris.

McLaren **** Norris pit stop up so make Piastri had the place back. Shows who McLaren favour. Pathetic.

Norris should of pitted first, but helped Piastri as overwise he of probably dropped below Leclerc if he pitted 2nd.

I'm not sure. McL mess up the stop and 2nd or 3rd are in the bag so why not swap them to reverse their mistake? Makes the championship closer, well maybe.

I’d love to say I enjoyed that but my word, what an utterly dull 75 minutes of racing that was.

Anyone know why McL are slow or is it just that Red Bull have found some speed? OK so it's maybe high speed, low drag circuit?

    Low drag, low deg.

Deg being so low at the circuit meant it neutralised their usual tyre wear and tyre performance advantage.

Next place they’ll potentially struggle is Vegas in the super cold track temps - Macca being “kind” on tyres won’t work there- it rewards those who push more energy through (usually Mercedes, hence their easy win there last year).
