Update I have had further "private" discussions with a mod OTR and firstly, yes, I must confess that I was guilty of posting "misinformation" and correctly the post was deleted. I now have a much better understanding of the T's & C's of the board. Posts by another poster which also contained misinformation and sparked the responses were also deleted. Another, very articulate and well argued post in relation to the operation of the board that was also deleted for misinformation was in fact accurate but referred to a post containing misinformation so was deleted as part of the clean up As to the root cause of the problem, senior people are aware of it and hopefully steps can be taken to resolve the situation to everyone's satisfaction. It is ongoing and I wish them the best of luck. I know where my sympathies lie on that one but nothing in life is ever easy or perfect. The outcome of this little episode, for me, is that I now have a much greater appreciation of the work undertaken by Mods, they often find themselves in a very difficult position and to be fair to them I wouldn't do their job for a gold pig. Here endeth the first lesson PS This doesn't mean that the mods on this board should give themselves a pat on the back, you pack of reprobates

So, am I the recipient who's up my own arse? I was simply trying to defend a poster that has been hounded unfairly on RTG. Or are you referring to the R2 D2 I built and I'm the model maker?
This is the exact reason i cant get away with social media & do none of it, just find people bizarre with so much of it, more bothered about what other people are doing than themselves.....I really dont get it. I get people dont necessarily get on, thats life, just give those you dont a wide birth simples.....but some people just appear to have hate & trolling built into them....very sad I dont know you, never met you but opinion is you come across as a nice woman/lass who is always willing to help people & is very constructive in collecting opinions then providing necessary feedback to the club. Without the likes of yourself the club becomes distant & works in silo like we have before....if that happens you lose so much buy-in from supporters
