Huggins starting for wycombe today, hopefully gets a good run of games together

 

He's playing right wing back. Doing ok so far.

 

You can see he's a cut above, Wycombe winning and their new signings looking good.

 

Woodrow playing well (just scored) and Sam Bell the real stand out for me - quite a coup for them at that level (as is Huggins really).

Seems the deadline business is doing the job for them. Delighted for Dodds, long may it continue.

 

I find it quite infantile when Sunderland people are having a 'Dodds Watch' and cheering if Wycombe lose ...

... he's not exactly Mick Quinn ffs.

I really like the look of Brobbey think he's going to be great for us. Even when he's not scoring he'll be helping the other forwards out with his hold up play and awareness.

I like Isidor and Mayenda but this bloke is that aggressive focal point that every team needs.

I've been wanting us to sign an Anichebe type since he left, thought he was quality and lifted the whole team with his graft and power. I reckon Brobbey has the confidence and maturity that we're perhaps lacking upfront as well.

 

There was rumours we only wanted to loan, and blocked him going back to his previous club as they wanted the option to buy. In Poland there might be a mandatory option to buy on a loan. They may be happy just to loan him, but at the same time give us an option to keep him with a purchase price more than they can afford if he turns out as good as quite a few expect he will

 

Mags just wanted the prestige of having the richest owners in the world at their club...... it all came best part of 20 years too late. Talksport spout on at times how it isn't fair for Newcastle, they sound be able to spend what they want blah blah blah.... well they can't, so it's tough sh*te. They kind of had people there running the place well enough.... then got rid of them. Quality over quantity sprigs to mind.

 

Hopefully, unlike big Vic this lad stays fit.
