Bitter economic stagnation, demographic decline, cultural fragmentation and failed mass immigration... You might think I was describing Britain as it fits. But how about Germany? Over-run by the immigrants that Merkel invited to flood into Europe by whatever means necessary while she ran a centrist coalition. Since the Federal Government system was imposed on West Germany after WWII to prevent a repeat there has been a succession of centrist coalitions ensuring democracy of some sort. Now though, they have a system that sidelines anyone perceived to be on the far Left or especially the far Right. So although the “Alternative for Germany” (AfD) party gets more than 20 per cent of the votes it gets ostracised.
