Pretty hefty windfall if he smashes it. An England international winger with a history of ‘big game mentality’ could go for £70m plus.
I can understand what this Paul lad is saying but then I have the use of an Cognitive interpreter. What utter ****e he is talking
Paul Montgomery, transfer expert?? Doesn't sound much like an expert to me. To be fair to him he sounds like me before KLD started to splash the cash...and I'm definitely no transfer expert
I’ve not seen this footage before. Superb. Watch Cirks and Dan in the crowd. Not seen it anywhere but TikTok so apologies to this who don’t use that. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdqdgBfN/ Superb.
Not only would they have been beaten badly every week, many, possibly all of the players would have been badly affected by the experience. We came up in a radical way. If the Wembley game had been two weeks earlier we would have had four teenagers on the pitch. Apart from two, they are all still here, several are contributing including scoring all the goals thus far. They needed help, a lot of it. And the club made sure they got it. All a bit too radical for some in the media who are a bit hard of thinking. But it's not the late nineties now, when Reidy's team came up and finished seventh with few changes. We are lucky that we could give it this shot. Very lucky.
It’s a beautiful thing that all our goalscorers so far this season are ‘til the enders. I hope that changes real soon mind
Me too. Goals have been my worry from the start and the sooner I see Brobbey in amongst it,the happier I'll be.
This. The 19 and 15 point seasons gave us (as a team) hangovers that carried over into the next season. In both of the following seasons we started slowly, though turned it round. Derby arguably never got over their drubbing in their 11 points season and struggled for most of the next one. Bring beaten badly regularly this season could actually set us back quite a few steps. It's why we needed the wide ranging changes we've done to give us a chance.
100%. The days of promoted teams adding a couple of experienced, often aging PL players and hoping the momentum would carry it on are gone. The gap is too wide..the last two seasons proved that. It's my belief that we got up a year earlier than was anticipated, but, our good start last year focussed the mind in a different direction. There's no doubt we're going to take a hiding or two, but,I think the club have gone all out to give us the best chance.
Tickled me this. Dunno if they have the same agency but someone ****ed uo and posted word for word statements on both players for their transfers
Demonstrates what little control these players have in their own lives. Everything done for them, and it backfires in that it's so obviously insincere. Who was it a few years ago,who had to ring his agent to find out what to do when his wife's car had broken down....can't remember?
Post something like this.... Which one of our players forgot to delete that part in a tweet or some such!
