It's a really nice gesture from both the club and the FA to let the FA Cup be at The Valley on Saturday to aid the tribute of the late Peter Croker. Last surviving member of the 1947 Cup winning team, nice touch. http://sportales.com/soccer/fa-cup-delivered-to-the-valley-for-croker/
That's fantastic. Good on the FA for doing this. Oldham will be my first game since the end of September, so I seem to have a good sense of timing
I'm coming back from uni Saturday....if I get up early enough I might just be able to make it to this game. Regardless, I'm sure it will be a great tribute and the FA cup is a great touch. It's not often I praise the FA, but they've done well here.
I can't think of many good things to say about The FA these days, but praise where praise is due, this is a magnificent, touching gesture.
Considering the loans we've had in previous years, I can't help but feel that the FA Cup would shine more elsewhere.
