    I’ve amended that story…

“Looks like we had agreed terms with Villa for Osula, but then Villa realised it was Osula”

I'm a bit more annoyed about the placement of this international break than I am Isak in a Liverpool top

Could not give less of a ****. Think that’s why fifa have an eye on expanding the world club tournament, which is going to further dilute an already ailing sport.

The worst thing they do is this international break three games into the season. ****ing read the room you dozy, money grabbing ****s. Does anybody really think fifa will even be a thing (for major leagues) in the next 30 years? It’s more like an EFL, with a Milk Cup.

We have to accept this fact. This window has set some nasty precedent situations where players of all clubs can pull these tricks.

It’s time for the PFA to stand up and shut this **** down or it’s going to happen everywhere.

We'll be a better side without the rat. Just watch.
Also, Liverpool won't stand for his lazy attitude. He will be a flop

The PFA is there to represent the players so it’s not down to them to sort it out

I don’t think both of these cases are equally comparable to be fair. People will of course draw every comparison they can think of because it suits whatever narrative they are trying to hide behind. On the face of it, yes it would be rather hypocritical of us to turn a blind eye to Wissa doing pretty much the same thing as Isak did. You are however talking about two individuals who are on very different paths in their careers right now, one nearing the latter part of his and the other yet to hit his prime. Throw in to the mix the whole agent fiasco and what may or may not have been said or written down in relation to promises or agreements etc and that just clouds things even further.

They’ve both downed tools and breached their respective contracts at the end of the day so there’s a lot of ****housery at play, Im more concerned about what this means going forward for football in general rather than what it means for little old Newcastle United. The net result for us hasn’t changed, we’ve got a striker at our club who downed tools cos he wasn’t happy and he now needs to be integrated into a squad of players before he pulls on the shirt. The only thing that’s different is that it’s Wissa and not Isak and the upshot of that ultimately is the fans response come match day, we’re clearly not gonna boo the **** out of Wissa as we probably would have had Isak stayed and pulled on the shirt again….that doesn’t make us hypocrites, Isak will no doubt feel the full wrath of our fan base when we next meet as will Wissa when we play Brentford.

Football is tribal. Whoever plays for your tribe is a good guy. Whoever plays for other tribes is a bad guy. It's not much deeper than that really.
