The optimism is palpable! As stated, a great window, some decent players in and options in all positions. It's nice not to be reliant on loan players as well, building a team for more than one season at a time is a must. Anyone find it odd we haven't seen Wales come off the bench yet? It must be annoying for him! We still don't really know what he can do (yet). That second half performance has restored my faith, hopefully the consistency will come now we have all the pieces in place.
We have a very long season ahead of us in the league without cup matches...injuries and suspensions will take its toll so the larger squad will hopefully be a blessing in disguise if needed
I was thinking about Wales when watching the games, he is a player I’d really like to see playing his part, there is a sort of an unknown about him at the moment. I’m also really happy about this window and I’m sort of buzzing that we are building a team for longer than a season. It’s bit early to ask this, but who are you most pleased about who has come in? For me it is Idah as he is a goal scorer that we desperately in need of. But I think Benson will prove valuable in the Championship
