Going back to the early days, I saw this classic from @Amin Arrears in response to Banterman's arrival on this forum (who, for those who weren't on the original 606, was a weapon's grade, certified, ocean-going ****er). Brian was top tier in the WUM days though, good point. His use of commas as apostrophes was both creative and disturbing.
For us, it's like knowing you'll be out of money in a year's time so you've got that time to either fix the situation or just let it happen and be destitute. For him it's the same situation except he's got a larger, more expensive house in another country that he can fall back on and also millions of pounds worth of media empire.
We needed cash flow this season, we are going to need cash flow next season. Shifting high earners and the fees we've raked in have obviously satisfied the EFL for now and we think we can get double next summer, so that's when Hughes will be sold. And he will be, regardless of whether he reaches that valuation or not.
I've just had a reply back from someone I know well, who has worked for the club for the past few years. He confirms wages and expenses continue to be paid, and he's not aware of people not getting paid. Word would soon get round, As I said earlier, I don't lie and I hate being lied to; take it or leave it. I'm sick of all this, not least the infantile insults. Time to follow Balkan's approach. TWT.
Funny how you can conveniently 'fact check' stuff that 'confirms' your viewpoint at the drop of a hat all of a sudden, isn't it? It would be a massive concern if things weren't being paid currently as the TV and solidarity payments have just dropped. It's when Acun himself has had to inject liquidity that paying creditors and wages have been a problem. Truth is that when Acun said 'the club is not for sale and there are no financial problems' you were lied to. As found by an independent KC
I think you mean there's no way a rational owner would have done that. Bless you for thinking we've got one.
Right, so you being told something completely proves your side of the story and is enough for you, but multiple other people being told something isn't proof and you don't believe it...... Jesus you're an odd fella
We didn’t have enough to go up that year. It’s been mentioned a million times. We did well to start the season and pushed our chips in on the most competitive top of the table the championship has seen in a while. Gambling on that season was a huge risk. As opposed to someone like Sunderland who spotted it and then rebuilt the following season. Acun’s constant short termism in transfer policy is what’s hurt us the most. Good teams like Bristol City, Coventry City, Norwich and WBA build over time.
where’s your friends proof? Did you accept their word or did they take you through a detailed review of the clubs accounts?
Based on that then any player worth anything significant will be gone at some point over the next 12 months.
It's also who has been told. Yourself, Toast, EVN and Lambo are known for having connections and being right more often than not. Then the Athletic, HDM and sometimes Acun himself corroborate and that's not enough. But someone who's isolated himself in an entrenched position all of a sudden becomes ITK and it confirms everything he's been saying from the start ( when at the start he was denying any suggestion of everything that has transpired) Hmmmmm. What a marvellous coincidence
Sunderland’s owner is a billionaire though. He can afford to regroup and go again. Acun’s the football owner equivalent of someone on minimum wage with an Audi R8 on finance and a mortgage he can’t afford.
We can soon test him out can't we? What date did they get paid last month and why were they paid on that date and not the usual one? If his mate is real he would be able to answer at least the first part fairly easily.
