Yes they cannot complain we didn’t make an effort and not try to improve the squad. Let’s see how these guys do over a season but promising sings so far in terms of the new signings coming in and having a positive impact .
Best transfer window I can remember. I've heard rumour of Freddie Potts coming in on loan from West Ham, but I think that's spurious.
I suspect that they had PP in their sights for a while and consequently didn't back TC as much as they might. There was that horrible PR disaster as well, perhaps manufactured to unsettle things. Either way I am not at all unhappy, thus far, with the outcome.

A good window I think we all agree. There is one nagging thought at the back of my mind though, is this the last roll of the dice from Gino? If we don’t go up this season (and it’s a very tough ask in this division) I can’t see them regenerating the squad in a positive direction again next summer.
Quite a few of our players are very young so we might not need new players so much as we will need to keep the best of our squad together for next season The danger is Gino getting an itchy finger instead of giving the coach and squad a second chance If we did make this season would the same players be expected to step up or would he strengthen the squad
