    Really think you should take him off that list.
    1. He had no control over the transfer fee - and Hoddle was adamant that he wanted him at any price.
    2. The illness that eventually killed him originally manifested itself after he joined the club, leading to his retirement.
    3. He was a bloody decent footballer who certainly never let us down when he was playing.

    Johnson, Odobert, Tel, Simons, Kolo Muani, Richarlison and probably others I haven't listed.

    Vic
    Porro, Romero, Micky, Spence
    Two of Bentancur/ Palhinha/ Sarr
    Kudus, Simons, Kolo Muani
    Richarlison

    in games we’re expected to be on the back foot then either:

    or

    For me it’s out of Tel or Odobert. Although both don’t impress me at all. The others listed would be a square peg in a round hole

    Brennan is a RW, Simons is needed to play in the middle. Kolo Muani and Richarlison as ST options.
