I think we need to get behind him and the team. If we keep the squad fit let’s look at the positives, we look pretty solid in midfield/defensively and we’re yet to really see Okafor and DCL, both of which could get goals and assists. No reason why Gnoto, James, Harrison & Aaronson couldn’t get a few too. If he is gone by Christmas we just need to remember he’s been dealt a **** hand. I honestly can’t believe we’ve failed to get anyone else in the attacking third when we needed at least one.
If we’re anywhere above the drop zone come January, if I was Farke I’d give the board an ultimatum, bring in “required” player by the end of week two or I’m walking
He’ll get a pay off if they sack him. Far better for him he bleats about it until they do. I like Farke but he likes to subtly and sometimes not so subtly let people know who he thinks is to blame, not usually him. He’s publicly marked everyone’s cards on this one. Says he’s happy with defence and midfield and not with forward positions. If we leak 5 every game it’s on him if we fail to score it’s on the board. Far too simplistic obviously as better attacking players don’t just score they put you on the front foot and relieve pressure on the defence. Results affect confidence etc, but that’s how it will look. Bottom line is we’ve brought in 3 attackers with bad injury history and lost 4… including our best player from last season (who quite clearly we could have had back as he was offered to everyone yesterday). We have tried for years now to get a 10 and still don’t have one. It’s schoolboy bollox.
