Owen Dale ...26yrs old...Oxford...loaned out to Wigan...18 games...one goal.....we have a team of similar quality.

    Law McCabe...19yrs old...Middlesboro...played 3 games 2yrs ago.....less experience than are own 19yr olds.

We used to get loanees from bigger clubs that could strengthen our team....but those days are gone.

We even loan out Freddie Issaka who has just as much experience ....so bring in two...but loan out one.....so the end of the window has just increased our squad by one ?

And none of that has anything to do with pasoti.....we're just barrel scraping....and struggling to do that.

Mathias Ross will play tomorrow so we're told....let us hope he is a good purchase....to go with our one good buy Lorent Tolaj....who needs to get some decent service soon.

    Who would satisfy you Plym?

Perhaps Liverpool could spare Alexander Isak for a while.

Only if we could give him the support he would need to do his job.

Law McCabe might be a great youngster.....but haven't we already got great youngsters of our own....McCabe is 19 and experienced three league games when he was 17......you would think that Middlesboro could have found him a more local club to advance his experience during the last two years ?.....instead of sending him the full length of England.......but with our limited squad we off-load Issaka who has played league games for us to Div Two and keep Hatch and Finn.....who need the help of experienced older pro's to bring them on.....so maybe Owen Dale might help them a little.....but I'm not sure that he will be a regular even in this squad.

It's just so disappointing what is happening at Argyle.....those years of foundation building seem to just be blown away....and we have an inexperienced manager who I feel doesn't know quite how to go about the job in hand.....20th this season might be seen as a success story.

    I despair Plym.

Clubs send their youngsters to clubs where they believe they will be well coached, well looked after and from where they are likely to return better players then when they left.

We have an inexperienced manager who is a well known name due to a significant playing career and who seems to me to speak well.

I'm just watching the latest press conference. He doesn't mince his words. When he speaks he has something to say. Asked about Argyle being a "big fish" in the Vertu Trophy, he says "Yes, when I look at the away end at Cardiff on Saturday, you get the "big club" feel and sooner or later, we need to repay that".

He describes Law McCabe as being young but "above the level". He says that having played in that role, it's all about the percentages. Winning tackles, picking up the second ball, keeping the ball and then adding creativity. Do you know who that is? Adam Randell is who that is. He made his debut aged 18.

You should really invest in ArgyleTV Plym, you'd learn a lot about the club and its people.
