It will be interesting to see what team we put out. Maybe Coyle will come in, as he is probably a better defender than Drameh. I guess the main question will one of these new signings come in midfield instead of Slater as I assume Crook's will still be unavailable, I assume he will stick with Lundstram & Gelhardt.
First question is will Ajayi or Famewo be fit enough to come in to shore up a defence that has gone from being the only reason we stayed up last season to the joint second most porous this season? Second question is will Williams be ready, in just shy of a fortnight, to play any meaningful part in games? Third question is will Darko Gyabi and/or Amir Hadžiahmetović walk straight into the starting XI? If the answer is yes to all these questions we may stop shipping goals at the alarming rate we currently are. In which case, if our attack continues to look the part, we should be winning this game fairly comfortably.
I would like to think the two new midfielders will be ready to go given the international break. Would be happy with a draw. 1-1 Haloumi scores for us!
If Amir is fit enough I'd like to see him starting as DM, don't mind Slater not starting. I'd expect Crooks to be available too. All very exciting, it's like starting the season again! Tigers 2-0...
Im not as big a critic as many but I'd be disappointed if Slater starts especially as the new playes will have the break to settle in
Me neither, I always liked Slater, but I do feel so far this season he has been largely in ineffective. We did look better when Crook's was playing, and there is no doubt we were overrun in midfield against BC.
Another away trip to a bogey team and this one is the week after the international break, and by my count we haven't won in our last 12 after a break. Swansea is the easiest team to put on your coupon. Prove me wrong City!
