Oh yes, I have many of her albums and she does a brilliant winter / Christmas show , but she is a Yorkshire lass my old mum would have stuck one on you if you said she sounded like a NE Lass
Another Tubestation cover...good band and making a decent fist of it I am not sure why person filming concentrates on the bassist!!!
Fantastic night watching the Pistols with Frank Carter and The Stranglers on Saturday. We skipped Buzzcocks , mainly as they're ****ing awful without Pete Shelleey, to have a chat with Stuart Pearce. Mrs B asked if he'd got his Rebellion tickets for next year? He replied that he didn't need to, as...he knows people. Not cool, Stuart. Not cool, at all. Both headliners were on excellent form and the setting and weather gave it a really party vibe. Mrs B took a fantastic series of pics of Frank Carter airborn from a jump off the drum riser which I will post later. Recovered the next day with a swim in the Cliftonville tidal pool. All very satisfying stuff.

Please forgive my indulgence, this is not music but I always associate music with London and huge part of the city to me has been the underground and my love of Leslie Green red brick stations , he died on this day age only 33 and left a wonderful legacy
Totally at random, but somebody got in contact with m over Facebook and returned my copy of Draconian Times to me a mere 23 years after I let them borrow it Oh neighbours... ...and that's the sound of four more copies being sold, isn't it?
They've got a new album out on the 19th. It'll be their 12th studio album since Draconian Times, which was their 5th.
I went to The 100 Club on Saturday to see this very fine band... Excellent stuff. Who doesn't like a lead singer, wearing a micro latex mini, playing a trumpet, whilst hula hooping?

Have seen them live a few times. The bassist is 17. The guitarist/singer is 16. Brother and sister. Their mother is a monster....although dad's a decent sort.
