It's a situation caused by clubs using that exact tactic last year to dodge and work around FFP. No sympathy from me.
Aye i don't have sympathy for villa after some of the deals them Chelsea forest and the mags did last summer
Aye, I suppose you’re right. I’m sure the Mags and Forest were 2 clubs involved with that sort of ****e…
I understand the worry with AFCON with during that period we’ve got Brighton and Spurs away plus City at home, I’d say those are three very difficult games that we’d struggle to take 3 points from even with a full squad. We have Leeds at home and Brentford away, but Brentford we should have some players back. It’s only the Leeds game that’s a must win during that period imo and we could still field Xhaka, Le Fee and Rigg. Yes it’s a totally different energy in the midfield but it’s hardly a disaster. The defence is unaffected and we have options across the front line now with Traore and Brobbey coming in. We’ll have players back by the time we play Brentford
Time for those obsessed with AFCON to give it a rest now, when it comes around I trust the club ie RLB to put his best side out and give it a right go, just like he will for the other 30 or so games. Great window and a great time to be a lads fan.
Brownhill is fascinating. He is being turned away left, right and centre, looks another who’s agent has absolutely ****ed the lad. Good player, not great, and thinks he can bag 100k week as he’s on a free. Now, without a club, Wolves latest to send him on his bike.
Isn't this the exact thing Newcastle did last season with that keeper at Forest and Anderson going in the opposite direction?
"There's a player that's been on our mind, since half time Geer-Geer-truida whoa hoa Now we can't pronounce his first name But we love him just the same Geer-Geer-truida" .... I'll get my coat.
