Bringing in players that are buying into the project is a big positive as you'd hope they'd be hungry to work hard and make it happen, knowing that the end goal takes them further than short term gains. Reminds me of the likes of Fonte coming here ... it all worked out pretty well for him long-term due to that decision.
Wonder if our slow start has helped push this through. Whereas if we were sat on 12/10 points right now maybe we wouldn't have pushed this through without the outgoings.
I hope they are all coming in as first teamers and not squad options, we need a very different looking starting XI.
I think they are. Jander direct replacement and the wingers giving us what we lacked and needed. Azaz is the number 10 we haven’t had in how long? Presumably the Danes are an improvement too. Here’s hoping. Still can also play his favoured formation.
They are. Azaz went straight in on Saturday, Fellows and Scienza will be our first choice wingers. Jander may not start as much but he's very highly rated in Germany so would think will get plenty of minutes.
That should definitely have its own thread. Apparently he used a corrupt doctor five time to keep him out of the draft to Vietnam. Imagine if he had gone and didn’t make it. The world would be a much better and safer world
How long does it take to sign a player? Ross Stewart didn't even need to walk in for us to sign him. Getting impatient!
No signings are completed before a medical. The paperwork will get submitted if time is running out but official announcements happen after the medical.
