Massively. If we can keep these players out of the sick room and play them in positions they understand, I think a third successive 15th place finish is a real possibility. Seriously, we really have done well.
Just a word of caution...this could just PR stunt to keep us all happy. To us... " Look we did all we could to get Ronnie Edwards back" To Southampton " we definitely want him...we will pay 5% of his wages and we will buy him for 50K if we are promoted...is that ok?" Hope I am wrong
Not sure on this one, for cover for when Mbengue spends half the season being banned, or straight in for Morrison? Think he played part of one match in front of back 4 as well
Me too I think Edwards is better than what we have got but we do have Cook Mbengue Morrison Field Dunne ( at a push Norrington-Davies) Who is going to miss out...even if Mbengue goes to RB/LB It does seem over the top...which is why I think it might be PR
With the ludicrous amount Liverpool have spent this summer I really do hope they crash and burn even more than I usually do.
The first and last are developing players. I forgot JCS...I mean really unforgivable who could forget JCS. ( tbh...JCS is in the same part of my brain as Richards which is marked...."imaginary beings do not exist")
To be fair to them if you take into account sales they’ve spent 150. Mill over the last three seasons, which compared to others around them is peanuts
Careful what you say....they'll be crying "Victim" if they read this - assuming scousers can actually read...
Both the kids have squad numbers and the one from Scotland has been on the bench I think. Anyway, the plan is clear. Last 10 games of the season when we need 10 points for safety we can play 8 CBs and 2 FBs.
Will always fondly remember that time Richards had a shot on target at home to Huddersfield and tying his shoelaces while defending at Rotherham. And who could forget him scoring in the friendly against Stevenage this season? A maverick and McDonald’s will be lucky to have him.
