I read somewhere that they don't earn tonnes off of it directly (if at all) as it's deemed a documentary. I think it's more the commercial revenue that they make off the back of it which is propelling them

EDIT - Indeed, BBC article here about their accounts states this:

"What is not included is revenue from the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary that has made stars of the club and players such as Paul Mullin.

That is because the club do not actually earn money directly from the show, which airs on both sides of the Atlantic and sees cameras follow Wrexham's fortunes from the inside.

But its indirect impact is obvious, with the club now seeing more revenue generated from outside the United Kingdom than on these shores."

Yeah no idea, assume a decent amount, apparently they make a lot in merch sales too via the Hollywood and Disney connection. Probably a lot of Americans will have heard of them and not us for example. They have a pretty small gate too. So must be pretty heavily reliant on the documentary and resultant fame.

Their thoughts maybe as Guehi is in the final year of his contract bid lower, but he's very much in demand.

They broke the transfer record the other day signing a young Norwegian striker for £17.5m!
Nunez from Norwich for I don't know how much? £10m-ish I'd guess.
And Mcateer from Leicester was around the same too. Can't remember who else, but they have been pretty busy too.

I think I read earlier this year that their income from their L2 season was larger than over half the sides in the Championship that season (being our promotion season). Such income will inevitably be even higher this season.

They also benefit from not having huge losses in their previous two seasons, with regards to their three-year rolling PSR cycle. It means they likely have much greater room to spend as compared to many other existing Championship sides, who will likely be carrying bigger losses from their past two years.

Yeah they broke the record for League One revenue I think, something like £26m. Higher than Birmingham’s revenue last year to put it in some perspective

I read somewhere that their commercial income dwarfs everyone in this league and is close to a lower PL team so maybe not too risky.

It's crazy how quickly our squad looks so much stronger

It’s crazy how much of our Premier League team had to be dumped to improve!

Our Premier League team was also arguably weaker then our promotion team! So it probably did need to improve on that in order to hopefully get promotion!

With rose tinted glasses on, one could argue that we have a better midfielder this season.

With any glasses on at all, our team last year was awful.

Love that team but will he play a 4-2-3-1? i'm not so sure.

From what we've seen so far, it does seem unlikely that he'd switch to that formation ... but ... perhaps he has just been waiting to have the players he needs to be able to play it?

If he doesn’t then signing Scienza and fellows would be pointless
