I can’t see Jim McDonagh (Seamus) on there and I saw him play as I still have nightmares. There were a few goalkeepers used in the McMenemy era so think there may be another one or two missed. I’d let that site off with one mistake but have Shay Given down as having made only one appearance and I’m sure it was nearer 15. I was surprised that Monty was only 20 when injured and 15 year old Derek Foster famously filled in for him.

How many gave Henderson a standing ovation?

I didn’t. I disagreed with everything he did when he left Liverpool for Saudi. I also disagree that ANY opponent gets that and our players getting subbed get a little clap!

Seen some of our fans say how good he was. I honestly forgot he was playing. Xhaka is a much better footballer than him imo

Superb noise and scenes. The club, the players and the fans have accepted the challenge and stepped up so impressively.

Match days are stunning at the minute.

There’s a feeling of proper warmth at the games it’s getting close to the Reidy years.

    Such togetherness. It’s beautiful.

    Can’t wait for that.

I know West Ham a proper club but Villa feels like the first ‘big PL’ game at home.

    It will be superb.
