    Would love to know what's actually been happening with Edozie. Given he supposedly just had to choose a club out of two accepted offers from two clubs a month ago. Radio silence since then. Wouldn't make any sense for us to be holding him back if we have the player we want to bring in lined up so it must be that Edozie decided he didn't want to go to either club, or those clubs pulled out.

    I do think that we have to throw caution to the wind somewhat and just bring Scienza in before the outgoings happen. Edozie will surely rather another loan move if no permanent move materialises, over not getting any game time here.

    Sounds like it’s been on Edozie to make a decision about his future for awhile. The fact that he hasn’t left yet would indicate the club aren’t desperate for him to go

    I don’t see why it would be agent chat really. The terms are widely reported as agreed, the deadline is in less than 12 hours. Something gets sorted one way or another today

    Only reason for it to be agent chat is if Scienza’s agent is now going to use Paris as a way to re-up the previously agreed personal terms to try and get him a bigger payday

    Or for Saints to just sign him without waiting for any outgoings? Maybe Saints said a few days ago the deal will get done when players leave and now it’s deadline day trying to scare Saints into making the deal before that happens
