Tbh yes as I think it allows for a lot more versatility and cover. This lad is more than good enough to play RB and CB for Sunderland IMO

Lucumi is class at CB.
this gives us more versatility for cheaper and he’s still a Dutch international defender who’s played in Europe since 2019
Geertruida has played LB a bit pretty well too he’s a strong defender, as has Hume, it’ll only be for a few games too
