The question I have is whether he's simply doing what the others would do in these circumstances.

I'm not sure he's a bad guy, but I don't like this at all.... I think it's a rare situation when a player of such quality is at a project club and is wanted by a big club.

 

Apparently he did say that though. I think Wilson had to go regardless. I think the club tried to get replacements for both (Pedro, Ekitike, Sesko were never just to replace Wilson, whereas Wissa, JSL were).

When isak told the club he wanted to leave, the club may well have said (verbally) OK you can go IF we can get a replacement in AND we get an acceptable offer for you. Those conditions weren't met.
