What's happened to Salah, first touch and passing was ****e.Is this the big drop off or does he need dropping to give him a kick up the arse.
Kerkez and Konate upped their game today. Salah was woeful, but it seems he is immune to being subbed or dropped to the bench. Sobz deffo MOTM just for the goal alone and he was solid at the back. Wirtz looked as if he had done his hamstring, but hopefully will not be to bad. Nice to be 100% going into the international break, I can relax more whilst on holiday in Greece now.
Decent start. Whatever happened at ht arsenal got worse even if it was a borefest and we got better. Not by much but enough. Both sides counting the cost at cb Arteta not even raging about it is the bizarre thing. He couldn't even raise a heckle aboit a fake pen.
Apparently Captain Black has said he’s never seen Liverpool suffer at home like they did against Arsenal today. I can remember Man City playing us off the park at home in the first half not so long ago, and It ended 2-2 iirc.
Salah was woeful. Wirtz drifting to nowhere. I thought it a dead leg personally for.him. Konate not sure if a knee or a thigh. Looked stiff anyway.
Thought the same; after they'd had 68 efforts, it would have been piss funny had we scored from our first
That's the worst I've seen of Salah for first touches, truly dreadful. I wasn't keen on the contract extension because he's only going to decline and never going to match last season's exploits. Still a quality player though so not complaining we kept him either
Don't look like Champions yet- but we didn't for large parts of last season either. As long as we keep winning...
Szboszalai has seen his place threatened, been covering at RB and rather than sulk, he's upped his game and been motm in 2/3 games. Great attitude, great player.
We suffered more against Bournemouth two weeks ago. I thought we were the slightly better of two poor sides
Second gear feels generous at times. It can only get better and we are already top. Not a good start for city at all. Arsenal are arsenal. Dour.
Didn’t think Arsenal looked a threat at all today. Even the corners weren’t threatening. Eze got in once from a lucky deflection before diving and other than that, defence and Grav marshalled them well. Was a much slower game with less basketball type end to end which the Bournemouth and some of Newcastle game was which helped the defence but obviously didn’t help the forward as shown which was reflected in scoreline.
Thought it was nice we won with a set piece as they win so many games that way. I have not been this happy since I retired
