Szobo absolutely brilliant. He was brilliant at RB against Newcastle and he was faultless today even before his goal. Has the passing range of TAA so lose nothing but he puts in 100% shift and brilliant to see. No diving in, just holding and forcing players back Also shout out to Konate. Brilliant today up against big man after all the rightly deserved criticism he got for last 2 games. Hopefully not big injury.
cracking result !! thought both Konate and Kerkez turned up today but the standout player by a mile was Szob . Salah was dreadful again and that contract extension looks dodgy right now .
His first touch was all over the place. Had 3 chances to control and hit but just bounced off him. Put it down to poor game more than anything. Thought Kerkez was very good given Madueke was their only threat. Was one point they said madueke been real threat and has Kerkez so need to get ball to him more. Not once at that point of there after did madueke actually beat Kerkez. He won his tackles, got his blocks in.
What's happened to Salah,first touch and passing was ****e.Is this the big drop off or does he need dropping to give him a kick up the arse.
Kerkez and Konate upped their game today. Salah was woeful, but it seems he is immune to being subbed or dropped to the bench. Sobz deffo MOTM just for the goal alone and he was solid at the back. Wirtz looked as if he had done his hamstring, but hopefully will not be to bad. Nice to be 100% going into the international break, I can relax more whilst on holiday in Greece now.
