All true but think we need to keep him for this season. One thing about him is hen never gets injured unlike our other strikers so he may be called upon many times

 

Don't remember playing our championship games with only10 men, ...he's our best finisher and like other strikers of better quality will have lean periods ... hopefully your other choices of striker will keep fit and bang in the goals especially in the prem with the required 11 players needed

 

well it looked that way sometimes when he played. he was on the pitch but was just a passenger. Not saying throw him to the gutter just someone asked out the squad who could we let go to make future signings and he would be my choice. ofcourse we would need a replacement.

 

Yeah Have no problems with that. Was just answering Wolves Whites question. if we need another striker we aint moving on DCL or Nmecha as they just come in. He would be my personal pick because he would still be in high demand and at a price we could sell at.

 

Take the passengers goals away and we'd be playing in the championship still ...

 

not really as we would of signed someone else. if we didn't have Piroe in our squad last season someone else would of been signed up. we wouldn't of played a season without another striker and its hindsight the new player could of righty scored less but also could of scored more.

 

oh i forgot about the myriad of clickbait strikers we always seem to be going for...but never get! ...that's why we have so far ended up with nmecha and dcl with questionable injury records and scoring ratios.......ho hum

 

We all have a opinions that's why the world is fooked lol. people see things others don't. I respect your opinion and hear all you say. but the long picture to me is Piroe is not a Prem Striker I don't even think he was that good of a player in the championship overall to me he's not a good footballer and is currently in a perfect position to be sold at the highest fee available to him.
As on DCL and Nmecha i agree both have it to prove. but this isn't why my Piroe answer came up further back in the chat.
I honestly believe he's at his peak transfer fee and "if we" needed too as the question i responded too further back in the chat he would be the perfect sale for the club right now.

 

Don't think any of our strikers will get 5 league goals (excluding penalties). Nmecha and DCL have been brought in this summer.

We wont bring in another 9 without letting one go. There has been interest in Piroe this summer from multiple clubs. If we can get a marquee 9 in then Piroe is the obvious one to let go. I could see a panicking Sheff Utd, Ipswich, Southampton or Leicester paying more than 12 million for him.

Its short notice but I think there's a slight chance it could happen.

 

If we all had the same opinion the world would be more ****ed and overbearingly boring....one instance is your statement that you don't think he was even good in the championship and yet you say that he's in a perfect position to be sold at the highest fee available, hopefully no clubs buying department are of the same opinion as you then or we'll get some loose change

I'd be open to Piroe leaving. I'll give some reasons.

1) It doesn't appear that he will play much this season even if we dont sign another striker. His value will therefore decrease.

2) He only has 2 years on his contract. If we sell next summer he will be cheaper than his current price. A bit like how we got Bogle.

3) As we stand here and now, Sheff Utd, Ipswich and Southampton are in the bottom half of the Championship and will want signings in. Then you have Leicester who are looking for a striker. We would recoup our initial outlay and probably more. Those clubs will be panicking and may pay over the odds.

4) Only allow him to leave if we can replace him with a proven striker from one of the big five leagues. Some of them will become available in the last day or so. There will also be loan deals with options to buy next summer which is great for our finances.

 

coz he scored goals in a team that were head and shoulders above most others. we scored 100 goals and it could/should of been more. you are eventually going to bag goals in that position. he's at a good transfer stance because of that coz goals next to a striker's name is a win/win view. its not about what i think coz im a nobody. But that's what I personally think not what anybody else may think I'm not a Manager.
I'm not anti Piroe I support anyone in a leeds shirt just saying what i personally see on the pitch and he goes missing and can we afford to do that in the Prem?
I hope he goes on and score shedloads not just for me to say i told you so if he doesn't. coz for my team.
He won't be moving and nor am i saying force him out it was a simple pick one and he was my choice and my reasoning to it right or wrong.

If Forest can't get Bakwa (Stasbourg), neither can we. He is a right winger.

Lukebakio, right winger (Sevilla), makes sense but will choose Forest over us. Forest moved on from Bakwa. Wouldn't suprise me if we are trying for him though.

As a panic buy, Jota Silva could become available from Forest if they get a right winger in. Loan deal?

Hamer or Buendia as last minute panic buys wouldn't suprise me either.

Stuttgart have money to burn following the sale of Woltemade to Newcastle. They will be shopping for the same players as us and Forest.
