So harsh everyone telling them to just send Guiu back when he’s hardly even played. It would cost upwards of 30mil to get a striker with his pedigree that people wouldn’t be disappointed by. Leeds have looked for a striker all summer and ended up with Calvert Lewin
Whilst I think that's true and we wont leave ourselves short, if Chelsea really want him back, then it's probably in our interests over the long term to try and find a way to make it happen. We want to be in this league for a long time and given the way they recruit, "Blueco" will always have players of interest to us. No harm in having them feel like we're a good club to do business with.
As you say if they want him back we should facilitate it but if possible I’d love him to hang about I’m looking forward to seeing the lad
It’s a good point, soft power and diplomacy can be vital in our position as a club. The ‘**** ‘em’ sentiment is all well and good but we’ll only be harming ourselves in the long term. A lot were frustrated with what we did with Danns but what transpired will have done l our relationship with Liverpool no harm at all and we have scope to reap the rewards from that relationship in the future.
It’s in our interests in the long term to not get relegated and trying to do half the season with just Mayenda and Isidor would be insane
Simple this. do a deal with Chelsea where we get that ch instead on loan, go out and get openda on loan with obligation to buy if we stay up. Then with the money we've saved on the ch and the money we would spend on a winger give it all to man u for amad, pretty easy this transfer stuff ahaha
Theres a reason why Chelsea, who many are tipping for a title challenge, see brining him back as a better option than buying someone else
