I would love for us to be able to use JRob as an impact sub this year. He will get a lot more confidence that way than being our primary creative outlet.

It sounded like we needed to shift BBD and Edozie to make room for a new LW. No idea if we needed to sell them rather than loan either given they’re still our players and will most likely be back otherwise.

I'm looking forward to Scienza - Azaz - Fellows in attack.

I thought given his previous goalscoring record, he’d be one we could sell. But a loan is better than nothing I guess.

He didn’t show it with us so I think anyone wanting to buy will want to confirm that. And an option hasn’t been reported so creates a better negotiating position if he does rediscover his shooting boots

I have loads of friends who are Derby fans. I will so love this providing he doesn’t suddenly become good.

At least a loan means he can’t score against us. Which he would. Somehow.

I’d love to know what question you asked the AI to answer and what metrics it should consider.

Loans are quicker to push through and I think require less paperwork.

If we want to bring players in quickly, it makes sense to loan players out to make room for them. It isn't ideal but better than having a player still at the club who wouldn't play otherwise.

And reduces wages, I doubt we will subsidise his wage to a rival team.

Rumour on TUI that there are discussions around Downs going on loan to Bristol City.

Would be more than a bit odd and would surely mean we'd be getting another striker

    Can't see it happening.

The goals have been flowing for Bristol City so far too so seems odd their end, albeit I have no idea what their striker situation is. Would only make sense for us if he was going somewhere he would get significantly more game time to develop, AND if we have a more experienced striker coming in. Does seem unlikely.

Wrexham had a bid for Coventrys Sheaf accepted for around the same rumoured Smallbone price, so I assume that one’s not happening.
