I think this too, if Liverpool really do want him tho they need to get their fingers out and offer at least what we’re reportedly asking for for him or they risk other clubs sniffing around him come Jan and next summer. On the basis that he’s still here come Monday at 7:01pm I can’t see a situation where he doesn’t play for us at some point again once integrated but that ultimately may come down to who else (if any) we bring in between now and the window closing.

I'm looking at the full picture including the other clubs. It's about taking your mind outside of the bubble and making an assessment.

Unfortunately you don't like the assessment and that's it really.

It's also notable that last night I said people are welcome to their own view...would be nice if I could without being labelled though mate. I listed some concerns but none have been challenged yet.

That 11 definitely left me asking where the moneys gone, before, and after the changes.

Brighton look like beating Man City here. Shows that a well managed team from top to bottom can play well.

I am still angry with last nights pathetic performance.

I'm concerned that the clubs who've been marginally behind Newcastle are getting better. This is why people stuck in Newcastle mode never see my rationale sometimes.

The way Brighton play football is a far more advanced style than ours.. It's less huff and puff and more sensible.

Palace are another side I think have caught up and Bournemouth are also very good.

A full picture is a full season not 3/38ths of a season.

Asking where the money has gone is a red herring when you know and can see where it has gone.

If you had been looking at the full picture and it was a genuine assessment then I’d be happy to discuss it but you know as does everyone else that you are simply trying to provoke an argument.

Your points have already been addressed by Eddie (?) as you also well know. But you will continue to pretend they haven’t and insist on yours being answered whilst not answering anybody else’s.

Here are the points and nobody has challenged them mate. I said something about Elanga and that was zeroed in on while everything else was ignored. The Elanga thing was a misunderstanding.

Feel free to acknowledge all 5 and decide if theres any valid concerns there. If you don't then they're not your concerns and you shouldn't be bothered.

I don't know why people care so much about other people's concerns because they arent theirs? I can only assume that deep down they actually do share the same concerns, but prefer not to confront them.

It's how they cope and that's fine, but they should also in return have the good grace to accept other people don't actually necessarily want to hide their concerns.

Anyone on here pointing at genuine issues or concerns they see is labeled something unpleasant. If you say something they like though it's all good and you're given a pat on the back. It's a patronising tyranny of majority sometimes guys.

I think we all know by now I won't fall in line on everything guys, so please let people have their views.. It's better than everyone simply agreeing on everything surely?

That’s what a forum is for. But when something is said that some people don’t like they tend to not give their opinion. But rather slag and slate and patronise.

Im not naming names but it shouldn’t be like that. If someone doesn’t agree with your opinion they should just give their own in response.

Nah the whole thing was Munsoning.

Apparently Gordon needs to improve dramatically despite the fact he was out player of the season 2 years ago and did well last season. As does Elanga despite the fact he's played 3 games and looked ok. And Botman is still clearly becoming match fit.

For some reason these signings are like Souness's signings of Boumsong, Amdy Faye, Babayaro, Luque etc

Re your last paragraph. What has Eddie addressed. Genuine question.

If it’s transfer then I think we are nearly there.

If it’s the games played. We have played well against Villa and Liverpool. But we should have punished Villa and the reason why is the lack of a good striker. That’s Isaks fault not Eddies.

Yesterday I am of the opinion that Howe got it wrong from the get go. But had a game plan and it didn’t work. Again likely because we don’t have a striker.

Now we do we should kick on.

Gordon did very well initially and I pitched for his signing when he played for Everton before he was even linked with Chelsea... Most nufc fans were complaining about his signing.

2 years ago you say? Let's not be silly mate he's not getting enough goals or assists had had 2 daft red cards recently.

I don't think we can rule out Elanga improving, but there's no doubt he needs to.

No exclusivity to either of these players was given in the part you picked out.

So here is our starting 11 on the day of the takeover

    https://www.givemesport.com/newcastle-pif-amanda-staveley-takeover-where-are-they-now/

Thats where the monies gone. As I said earlier we are a top 7 side and squad now that if everything clicks we can be a top 4. Isak money unlocks us PSR wise to become a top 5 side if we start to get the playmakers in.

Everything takes time but as Ive always said as well, PIF can and should be doing a lot more to shorten the timeline.

**** me - you’re all making the same comment over and over and over and over and over again - WE ****ING HEAR YOU! YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT, YOU MIGHT NOT… JUST GIVE IT A ****ING REST FOR A DAY.

Do you seriously think Eddie thinks everything’s brilliant? No, he probably doesn’t, but he’ll work with players and tactics and try to improve things over time… he won’t throw his hands in the air and say “where’s the money gone? These ****s are ****” - is it ‘Howe out’ for you lot??

I’ve never seen such a load of old **** being churned out in slightly differing paragraphs for days/weeks on end. It makes the forum so dull.
And I can’t believe you all don’t sit there and think “didn’t I pretty much just type this same comment a minute ago?”… and yet you still crack on.

differing opinions is fine, repetition after repetition is just ****e. I’d be quite happy reading less posts but with more originality.

    that’s my opinion

Sorry I was referring to this summer in comparison to last season. 200 million to get woldemade Thiaw and Elanga in the 11...

None started Yesterday though hence the comment. Then we've also lost Isak so if kinda hasn't improved evne I'd they play really.
