Man United wonderkid Radek Vitek makes ‘frankly ridiculous’ save vs Hull City https://manutdnews.com/man-united-wonderkid-radek-vitek-makes-frankly-ridiculous-save-vs-hull-city/
so far right domino's not falling in our "buying direction" bit like a house chain! eg: 1 in the chain furthest chain dithering!.............. time is running out. however watching the game yesterday some pretty good football /players contributing so we shouldnt do to bad this season if we maintain a grouping of 4 [ 2W 1D 1 L = 7 POINTS FROM 12 ] we will be thereabouts. roughly 78 points!!!!!! 5 grouping 2W 1D 2L - = 66 points / + 3W 1D 1L = 88 points
It was a world class save. He knew it too - he celebrated it!! A bit worrying really - Man U are taking note. They might recall him.
No doubt an unpopular opinion on here, but I think that’s a save Max could/would have made. Max is a very good shot stopper, as we’ve seen many times. Vitek on that point is on a par from what I’ve seen, but his command of the box and taking crosses, which gives the back 3 or 4 confidence, far exceeds Max’s ability.
We couldn’t replace him for that money. We need his pace and passing ability in that back 3, as the other 2 are not as good at those aspects of the game. I overheard a guy behind me at the game yesterday say to his mate that, Vyner is the only one of the back 3 that had any chance in the PL. He said the other 2 would be destroyed. I nearly asked him if he’s Redprintt
Bristol City reject another offer for Zak Vyner from Wrexham https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/h...ded-to-wrexham-second-zak-vyner-transfer-bid/
Come on Struber - this is the sort of attacking football we want to see at the Gate…… https://www.theguardian.com/football/video/2013/sep/18/seven-man-kick-off-red-bull-leipzig-video
I hope Vyner stays. We'll need 4 big defenders during the season and McNally's out till Christmas at least.
Boro's current LWB Silvera looks more than useful - previously a winger Edwards has got him to understand his defensive duties. Can understand why Borges has been on the bench this season.

Sounds good, will provide cover/competition for Pring once he’s fit, but perhaps, more importantly right now, it allows McCrorie to move back to the right hand side. Gives the team much more balance. I guess that will see Roberts leave on loan tomorrow
Well at least we are dipping into the transfer pool and it also looks like some detailed work was done prior to the discussions. I know nothing about our new Brazilian (try explaining that to the wife) but on the outgoings side of the coin I have some concerns about McRorie and Vyner possibly leaving as they both have an essential part to play in our squad to keep the continuity going. Vyner was my target a couple of seasons ago but he has improved his game enough for me to want him to stay and the same goes for Ross McRorie, although he has been with us for a lot longer. The main needs for us is a couple of decent goal scorers, a long term goalie with skills beyond Max who incidentally I also regard as a great shot stopper and dominant mid-fielder especially if the two outgoings actually leave. So far so good (and I haven't said that in eons) and I look forward to our newish look and see where it takes us with our unbeaten streak still alive.
