Long and detailed response comes from ST which deals with all your arguments ... ... but you're not going to explain why you're still right despite all those counter arguments. You've been begging for this for weeks, you've finally got it, and now you're going to stop going round in circles?!?!?!? Perfect.
In fairness I think there's a chance we make several of these permanent. Gelhardt, Lundstram and Hadziahmetovic all seem likely to me. Maybe Ndala depending on what Man City want for him.
Isn't a player swap just selling one and buying another between the same 2 clubs but we can't actually buy any players
I cannot see much interest from Championship clubs, but higher end League 1 sides might be interested, but may have to take a pay cut though.
Yes but I think we'd have been looking to sign him on a perm this summer if we didn't have the restrictions. Same with Lundstram. Gelhardt will only have a year left come next summer so might be more keen to take a pay cut.
Or Gelhardt does well, a team with money pays him more than we can offer & he signs for them. The only way we’ll be signing players is if they’re free. Just because we’re not spending on fees, we’re throwing money at wages, it’s not like we’re saving money because we’re not spending millions in fees!
Do you think Gelhardt still has a bit of improvement in him,he's still young? If he progresses under us,and I think he will(IIMO),I reckon he's good enough for the top flight.
He’s got a point though. The fee restriction prevents us having options to buy after the loan so if players do well for us this season, we’re going to have to contend with clubs with more money and higher ambitions. Man City don’t usually sell their academy players for cheap if they have a good season at Championship level or higher.
In the accounts it will classed as a purchase and sale so don't see why the EFL would see it any different
If we can get rid of Slater, keep hold of Hughes and bring in another midfielder then it’s been a great window. if Joseph comes good then we will be spoilt for riches up front when our injured players are back up to speed.
Might have to go into the loan market then....There's Owen Foster at Middlesbro...Useless idiots City gave him away to Bro for Jack $hit. They might have some sympathy.
