Football is just a horrible business and unfortunately I think psr and this big 6 legacy club ****e along with VAR has killed any tiny thing it had left.

People are now addicted to a synthetic drug.

The next Irony is that the media are reporting that Newcastle search for a striker means we have to overpay as there is no time for selling club to find a replacement. e.g Wissa price is now £65m not £40m

In the next breath they say Newcastle will have to accept a lower offer for Isak as Liverpool wont go that high and we shouldn't keep a player who wants to leave. So we should accept £120m -£130m in stead of £150m.

How about **** off - its £170m now

Hypocrisy in plain view and no-one says a word!

Larsen isn’t on strike he was injured yesterday. He was at the match and celebrating the goals.

I think we might get the Inter midfielder in. Aswell as Wissa. I don’t like what Wissa has done mind.

These media muppets simply say what they think the situation is. It's all hypothesis much like fans assuming the only issues we have is the striker position.

There's always more to it than one answer.

We should definately hold out for 150m like. The talk on talkshite is that Liverpool won’t up the bid from £120m.

I can’t believe we would crawl back and accept that.

Will be so funny, if it's announced, one of those does start on 22/9

Though you're going to have to cut down on the negativity <laugh>

We're now unable to benefit from the sale unless of course that's what we've already spent knowing he was going.

Looking at the spend I find it highly likely that we've already spent the Isak money.

If they've got it wrong we're heading for psr issues and years of not being able to sign players again.... Hopefully it goes well anyway.

Sell Isak and we could spend 100’s of millions in the next couple of windows. PSR won’t be a problem for a short while if we do.

Id be bloody great. My announcements would be

    1. New Stadium
    2. Existing Stadium - Greggs partnership agreed so available on the concourses
    3. Announce we have started Legal Proceedings against the PL
    4. Sell Isak to Saudis for £170m
    5. Target £999k sponsorships from Saudi firms for everything under the sun.
    6. Fans with an NE postcode will get a higher priority in the ballots

We've already spent 200 million mate so I suspect a big portion is already spent. woldemade Tonali Guimareas and Tonali are all we've really got at this point... It's insane to think that after spending 600 million.

It's going to catch up of the like if a Gordon Elanga Botman and Barnes don't improve dramatically.

This is why I'm asking where the moneys gone... I see other clubs signing some finds and we're recruiting like Liverpool when they were ****... Signing players like Saunders and Mark Walters.

I think many of our signings are sounessy at this point.

A lot of journos said we had scope to spend around £150m before the window and we've secured about £40m in sales. So we might be about at limit now, aside from any further sales.

Even if none of it's spent there's no time left. If Newcastle fall away its going to be even more difficult.

The huge spend had to work out or were going to join the likes of everton on the list of pretenders.

I think Isak will stay for now, with a new agreement to include a release clause for next summer. THEN we will push on.

We were always going to have a bad season somewhere down the line.

Even before selling Isak we had about 150m available to spend. We sold Longstaff aswell. That £12m effectively enables us to spend another 40m ish.

    So we had about £190m.

Now if we sell Isak for £130 that is effectively enabling us to spend a further £400-£500m.

So PSR isn’t an issue for now.

There's no time to spend it.... If Newcastle do this bad all season we'll be back to square one.... It's not easy to get good enough players.

I think he'll be sold late and we'll maybe get Wissa at close to 60 million

So what? You're extrapolating three results and forecasting what the season will be like.

You're questioning the players we've bought and where the money has gone but earlier saying these were good buys.

You're not daft enough to make the season assumptions that you are indicating and, hence IMO, you must be wumming.

We all know if it wasn’t for Isaks behaviour we’d have 4-7 points on the board.

Woltemade and hopefully someone better than Wissa fixes that, Gordon comes back, the squad will be stronger and better after the break. We have a very good first xi and are likely to finish top 7 again this season. Two away draws isn’t a disaster, we should beat both at home. Once trippier and Barnes are out the first xi we will be good.
