Personally I'd rather we spent big on a winger than a CF. I think we're light in quality on the wing whereas our strikers are already congested in terms of competing for one place.

I also think the lads we currently have are good enough and all offer something different.

Yeah for me a quality versatile attacker covering either wing and a central position is what we're missing. I don't see us signing a high profile CF despite all the links, I think we're happy with what we've got.

 

We signed Le Fee for £20 million and it’s a good chunk of cash. Looking at the prices knocking about now, he’s an absolute bargain. Works his nuts off and oozes quality.

 

Early days yet but Roefs is looking like an absolute bargain when you look at the fees banded about for comparable keepers being bought in this window. Massive vote of confidence for our scouts and recruitment department.

In terms of incomings I’d say only two unless we lose anyone we’d rather not. Plenty of outgoing though. Ideally a whole back four out on loan in Huggins, Seelt, Hjelde and Alese if fit enough to depart plus Anderson gone permanently.

Permanent departures for Pembele, Ba, Browne, Poveda and Rusyn ideally.

We won’t have. Clubs can work on multiple deals at the same time. It’s not like we can only go for one player at a time.
