Muppet near me reverted back to normal. I thought he’d learnt a lesson as he stayed against West Ham. No, left on 90mins. He’s missed so many goals over the years.

Whats very noticeable when watching on the TV is that any big moment the players are always trying to bring the crowd in play. Think this is also part of the game plan in the final 3rd get a ball into the box, create a chance keep the energy high.

I always think we play better once we give these lesser teams a goal start <laugh>.

Well it's never boring is it

Great result in the circumstances. Used a couple of lives up but to be fair some really good performances

ELF very good, Xhaka very good and the two centre halfs played well. Muikeile looked very assured and I can't remember the last time we used a long throw

Still need to be a little more clinical and create more chances bit overall 6 points from 9 is a great start

Thought that was a proper game today, both teams going for it and both good out of possession. Both teams lacked quality ij the final 3rd, it's the area we need to improve on for sure but we have players capable of winning games and that's huge

So hard to pick Man of the match, I'd give it to Le Fee but I also thought Reinaldo and Roefs (for the pen save) deserved a shout as well. What's so impressive is 8 of that starting line up are new players, it takes players time to settle into a style of play (this could be impacting us in the final 3rd) but our players are adapting so quickly.

We 100% still need 2 or 3 more players, we need more in the final 3rd and it's still think we need another CB.

Thought RLB got his Burnley subs wrong and his tactics against Huddersfield, in the 1sy half, so wrong however, he was spot on with everything today.

New players coming in and contributing so soon is really encouraging

Hope you all had a cracking day at the game, and safe journeys home

Well done the players, staff and supporters, a real team effort today by everyone involved. Was impressed with Brentford but we more than matched them, ELF was my man of the match but it’s getting harder to pick one as they all do so well. Enjoy your night everyone & thanks again RTB

We sit above one of the exits and see them all sneaking out and then run back in after late goals :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Can't say I thought they were "better " at all. They were decent in the second half and worked a good goal, and they do look like a team with a lot of players with PL experience, which I think they are, despite losing a few.

But, we were better in the first half I thought, and we never looked as if we weren't in the game in the second. For a lot of the game I thought they were struggling to cope with our midfield actually, who constantly out muscled them and came away with the ball.

But Brentford are a decent outfit. Beating them and more than holding our own then, is not a bad day's work!

Over the moon with the win today. Makes a huge difference going into the international break. And may also make a difference over the next 2 days if we need to convince joiners.

Wasn’t able to watch all of the match so can’t comment much more until I watch it back. But Alderete and Roefs look like brilliant signings to me.

Brilliant game of football that. Both sides played well but just had that bit extra to edge it.

Impressed with all of them. The effort and team spirit is a joy to see.

Special mention for Roefs. It's such a change to see a keeper kick the ball out and it actually drops in front of one of our players!

Over the moon for Wilson. I was holding back the tears when he headed it in, then I totally lost it when he did the baby celebration. I love that man!

Absolutely buzzing with that. Nothing beats an injury time winner and by God we've had a few of those in recent games.

So happy for Wilson as well as he seems a genuine bloke who loves the club

I’m sure we all noticed some lovely little bits of 1 touch pass and move, nothing massively came of it but it’s signs of gelling and a real pointer to what we will be capable of.

There’s a bit to find, but there’s stuff starting to show now. I still think the central 3 have a lot more levels to click at.

I would be normally pi55ed off with an international break, stops momentum and all that....but in the case, i'm please there is one. Gives the lads a little breather, a little more time to gel and to get any new players through the door and get a settled squad that we all know will be here till Jan.
Fabulous result today, what it does prove to me, we don't need to fear anyone at the SOL...at times we play some outstanding football, as time goes by this will only get better.
