I’m on the Edinburgh train listening to Leeds v Newcastle and waiting to see what other people are saying …

… perhaps there’s less to analyse in a victory <laugh>

Don’t think there was much in it but i thought they shaded it. Only because they were good, no criticism of us.

17th is still a massive achievement, I think today shows how tough it'll be.

    38 will probably do.

Approx 17% of the way there. Every point counts

They're a well organised team but so they should be …

… they're an established PL which has been carefully put together.

We look like we’re trying to work things out as we go along.

Tremendous! Enzo amazing...hope his agent is curled up in a corner shaking! He's gonna play a big part this year.

The main thing for me is the character of the lads we've signed. They all seem to absolutely love it! Habib geeing the crowd up at every possible opportunity and you can say similar for all of them including the signings from previous windows! That hasn't happened by accident...clearly a big part of the recruitment plan and I love it!

We should be after a Newcastle win, but they're massive ****s so a draw will do

That was better than against WHU. The top teams will come here and probably win. So what. We have to beat the teams we think will be around us come the end of the season. Today showed we are not out of place. I think we will get better and today I thought we showed we are not just trying but actually playing bloody good stuff.

PS, How poorly do you think the bell end on MoTD will say Brentford played and more importantly who gives a flying one.

Thought we played it perfect. Not trying to push it as we knew they could hurt us, can imagine that's the way we'll go in most games. Push on too much and we can get punished. But we carry a threat going forward.

Lads have great character and all the new signings fitted in easily!

I reckon RLB is part of all of that too! Seems to be an excellent man manager!

We were absolutely class at times today mind, rode our luck it has to be said, but they were equally lucky with some things, like Kelleher dropping one and arguably Kelleher punching Isidor.

Reinildo is a stunning bit of a business My Little Richard. Alderete too. Mukiele definitely will be better a right back but for the most part done well. Roefs is amazing. You cant not praise this lot.

Diarra again looks such a threat. Buzzing for big Wilson, doesnt get much better than this week for him.

Probably starts next game as well.

Hard to take my Sunderland hat off but I just thought it was a really great game between both teams. We’ve commented on here for years saying Brentford are a club we want to get alongside and we didn’t look out of place at all. Draw probs a fair result imo but a load of heart from our lads. It’s a pleasure following these lads
