Xhaka was class as well by the way. Just always there.

Got some stick last week he was there today. ELF easily MOTM I agree and that’s what you do when you’ve been benched.

    Step up.

What is noticeable is the speed of play in the 2 league home games so far. If the 2 centre halfs get a run of games together they will make it very difficult to be shifted. Mukiele has the look of Sylvain Distin about his play. Liked the number of crosses going into the box 1st half need to make sure we are attacking the box with them.

Can I just say, the penalty today will totally prop the figure but our xGA in the first 3 games must be very low without that penalty. Defence has been class. Burnley wasn’t great but we’ve limited the 3 teams to very little chances. Thought the Outtara goal was decent from them, we were lucky to get away with the offside but other than that we really limited them. Alderete is the ****ing boyo anarl

Thought Kellerher did not look good in goal for them. Collins at the back for them stood out for me.

Just back. Cracking win. Could easily have gone either way, slightly more their way. I was impressed with Brentford. Really well organised, strong at the back and can play from there, I was impressed with Thiago and they, especially Henderson, had an impressive way of winning second balls. That said we also troubled them and we had some good deliveries into their box that we may have scored if Thiago was ours.
I’d need to see the pens again. Both looked ****e like. Roefs passes the ball like Modric. Le Fees first touch sublime I love the left back and with a bit of cohesion at the back that comes with time our quality of player is transformed. Our 3 midfielders competed but were bettered today for me. Lots of energy but not as much composure but weren’t bad as such.. And I think what I thought before the game signing wise,’one more for depth at the back and we need a bit of quality in the wings and ideally up top. I’d start with Wilson at this point.

Roefs is excellent some signing but I'm massively impressed with Alderete looks solid at the back and he can ping the ball about with some accuracy! Looking like daylight robbery!

FFS left Edinburgh pissed as a fart, and 0-1 down. Came home to this.

I know there are some posters who love being negative but I'm choosing to believe the thread was quiet cause lads were at the match, not that no one likes being positive! <laugh>

    Had to make a post

Wow what day. I thought we were the better team the whole game and what a time to show people who said they were worried for our team’s togetherness that we have just that!

Reinildo, Alderete, Mukiele, Xhaka, Le Fee. All top class today

I thought Adingra looked lively on the right and wouldn’t mind seeing Talbi get a go on the left where he can cut inside on his stronger right foot. Adingra doesn’t care what side he’s on he will take them on

Isidor as well, didn’t stop when he came on and got the vital winner with a lovely header which is something I’ve wanted to see from him.

Xhaka bossed it in midfield again and what a ball to le fee and what a cross for Isidor.

I love this club. Get Lucumi and a versatile forward in and we are going be just fine!

One thing that can’t be taken for granted is the human aspect of these lads.

last time we were here we had rodwell not showing up.

now we’ve got Isidor leaving his partner and new born baby, not sleeping and fighting his heart out to score the winner

Was Isidors arm not offside? Or have the rules changed again?
