Lovely goal but I can't help feeling we have got away with it today. This half has been truly terrible
Absolutely and it was probably a bit of an off game for him today, another day he could have had 3 or 4
Newcastle were the better team against Liverpool with 10 men and got 2 goals back. So playing against 10 men isn't always as easy as it sounds.
Stats say we have 87% pass success so not true. Just occasional terrible one. Our tackling and heading state however are really poor.
The trouble with that stat is it doesn’t judge passing like us watching - so many passes were really slow, too long on the ball, hospital passes which put the next player under pressure or reversed the momentum. 87% sounds good, but if they are all backwards it’s unimpressive

I’d agree the passing rhythm hasn’t fully settled although I thought it was much better today, the trouble is the passing sequence can look nice for 10 or so passes but if the last 1 is a shocker the whole move is a frustrating one. Blackburn seemed to gain a hold in the second half when Marcondes came on for Kvistgaarden, they no longer had a second striker to worry about and felt more comfortable stepping forward.
