If only we could get Belloumi on the ball more often instead of not taking the risk in midfield.

It doesn’t mean much for this game, but hopefully that’s the monkey off Joseph’s back now and the floodgates open.

    A man can dream…

    Id like williams to start
Joseph to start and bring ndala on against tired defenders

Belloumi maybe start in 2 weeks ? Possibly

So swap Williams and Coyle for drameh and Giles, then swap Slater for Mccarthy or any other ****er cos he's just nowhere near good enough.

I don't want to be in a back and forth that lasts until the end of time so I'll leave it.

If you can't see slater is awful and we get absolutely ragged in midfield every time he starts then that's your myopia.

Missed all 6 goals today, S4U been even more ****e than the city defence and defensive midfield, doubly fuming.

I don't think Slater had a good game today, but was he really any worse than Lundstram? Sifting through the comments he's barely come in for any flak this week or last week but been just as off the boil for me

Nah its not one players fault
The midfield is just non existant off the ball

Asking them to do things theyre not good at

Genuinely dont think crooks today changes much

Can't really grumble with the result. Defensively we were poor, but I thought Bristol were very good going forward. I think the real issue is the midfield though, cos they strolled through us at will to allow them to create the chances.

Slater is a major downgrade on Crooks, and Lundstram isn't a defensive midfielder. Here's hoping Johnny Alphabet can get across the line if he's the answer

The better team won but, going forward we could easily have scored 4/5 goals ourselves - until we start defending as a team and stop the easy crosses into the box and track runners we're going to keep conceding a ****load, we could have scored 4/5 but tbh, Bristol could have hit double numbers! Coach needs to sort something out during this international break.

PS Pleased as **** for young Joseph, he's worked his arse off this season and got his rewatd today. Next!!

Individual mistakes have cost us, good going forward, Joseph scores at last, but defensively poor not helped much by the midfield. We need a defensively minded midfielder urgently. You can’t give room to any teams in the championship like we have today to win football matches.

I thought Lundstram was off too, couldn't pick a pass and runs like he's running through wet concrete. Hughes the same most of the time.

We are certainly better going forward, but defensively we have gone backwards. Crooks and Ajayi have been a big miss. Pluses, Akintola did okay, good to see Belloumi get a run out, and pleased for Joseph to get his goal.
