The problem isn't just the defence being shaky. We're letting too much come at them. We've had 38% possession. We're not keeping the ball well enough and we're not playing like a team often enough. Yet again our midfield that looked solid a few weeks ago is now being cut through like butter. This might sound harsh but if you simply pop Crooks in there for Slater then this game is a lot closer, a la Coventry away. We've just kicked off and they've played it straight past Slater again who's nowhere near his man.
Never got all the hype around Drameh, he’s always looked poor to me. He got run ragged against Coventry, their winger and full back literally had him on toast and everyone was singing his praises? Couldn’t understand it.
If we had enough fit centre-backs, 5-3-2 or 5-4-1 against stronger teams would be the way to go but we just can’t.

I said in the Oxford game that we were getting away with a massive gap between defence and midfield, something we wouldn't get away with against better opposition.

Minor defence of Drameh on their 2nd, that's prob a cross that's at least 80:20 in the wingers favour, Drameh back peddling trying to keep an eye on the ball whereas the winger can steam in and get the jump. The CB not following the striker was equally at fault for me.
