Second visit to Welsh Wales in a week. At least there was no reason to stay there for the duration. Good test for the new look greens as Cardiff are currently top of the tree. Argyle are long odds in a two horse race to win this one but then again what price Grimsby v Man U. I'd be inclind to have a couple of bob on us. COYG

Big Car has just gone off to Somerset - Mother In Law’s 90th birthday tomorrow. Daughter and son-in-law will follow tomorrow but I’m left at home to look after the cat. The cat is in charge. As always. Could be worse. Argyle on Sky, Premier League and Dutch Grand Prix.
Saved from the mother-in-law by a cat.......now I thought cats could look after themselves if they had a cat flap.....and a neighbour who topped up their food bowl. I assume you broke the cat flap when no one else was looking ?.....so you had an excuse for not being able to go......top of the range cat treats today I assume. Isn't the Grand Prix the usual going around in circles endlessly.....and maybe the odd overtaking in the pit lane wheel change moment......so boring.
You've clearly never been to a race otherwise you wouldn't be so dismissive. It's the equivalent of "I hate football, just 11 grown-up men people of either gender kicking a ball around a field".
That's true......many...many years ago I used to go watch racing at Crystal Palace.....but obviously not F1 racing......there was one section of the track that backed on to property.....and a dog had come over the fence because of all the excitement......and promptly got hit up into the air.....and still managed to jump back over the fence.....never knew if it had been badly injured or not. Brands Hatch isn't far away from here... but circuit racing has never interested me.
Ashby-Hammond...Szucs...Mitchell...Wiredu...Sorinola...Boateng...Ibrahim...Benarous...Watts...Mumba...Tolaj. Subs. Baker...Edwards...Galloway...Roberts...Issaka...Pepple...Hatch. No Oseni...Finn...Amaechi.....and still no Matthias Ross yet.
2-0.....H/T Wintle...(41mins) Willock...(44mins) Two late goals.....34.7% possession......and as yet no shots on target.
Argyle are very unlucky to be 2-0 down. We have been on the defensive but allowing Cardiff few clear chances. The second was an own goal as Wiredu tried to block a shot but merely managed to deflect it past the keeper who was diving the other way. The ref is an absolute shocker, amongst other things booking Sorinola from a distance when the lino didn’t even flag a foul from 3 yards away and then failing to book one of theirs for a cynical trip that stopped a breakaway.
And another own goal from Wiredu. He’s merely throwing himself into blocks as he should but getting no luck at all.
So 4 - 0 in the end. I can see Argyle were extremely unlucky once again. Game 5 and I'm totally pissed off with the season already.
I’m not suggesting we should have won this or even could have. Cardiff have dominated possession and chances. Nevertheless, 4-0 is really unrepresentative. Two were unlucky own goal’s from blocks that went wrong and the last poor goalkeeping. We do have a problem in that latter area. I said a few weeks ago that we looked like 11 strangers. That’s no longer the case. We’ve played some good stuff although lacked the killer touch. We’re getting there and we won’t be playing Cardiff every week. This was a shattering result but hysteria is not justified. I know this is said a thousand times a second on match days across the nation but the ref was appalling. Utterly useless.
Hysteria is NOT what I'm showing. Last season was bloody awful and I tried hard to remain even slightly optimistic throughout until relegation was a forgone conclusion. Ok rebuild and start again I thought and have always given Argyle the benefit of doubt no matter what. But, the start to this season and the number of goals being shipped is beyond acceptable. We are no longer a small club in this league and we should not be looking over our shoulder after such a few games but I really fear we are and will be all season. I do not want another season like the last one as a follow on. I don't do hysteria and like to think I a whole lot more honest and fair minded than that.
4-0.....F/T Wintle...(41mins)...Willock...(44mins)...Colwell...(50mins)...Davies...(90+1mins). Five defeats from 6 games played...13 goals conceded ......8 shots and 3 on target. Does Cleverley have anyway of turning this disastrous start around......should be in the bottom four by 5pm.
